It is a glass block made up of silicate glass pieces held together by a polyvinyl butyral film and rimmed with ПС-4 intermediate layer, У-1-18НТ sealant, and metal frames.

Electrical heating is performed through current-conducting coating applied to the inner side of the outer glass. Heating control can be mediated automatically by temperature controller ТЭР-1M.
